Expand your skills or embark on your scuba journey oceanfront on the east coast of North Carolina at Lumina on Wrightsville Beach!

This oceanfront pool event gives you a glimpse of what you can expect to experience in the underwater world or refresh your existing scuba skills. During this Discovery Scuba experience, you will go through the basic safety procedures for enjoyable scuba diving under the watchful eye of an active Instructor. You will learn skills such as equalizing your ears, buddy checks, basic buoyancy control, underwater communication, and more. You will also be introduced to basic scuba equipment followed by an underwater tour in our local pool or aquatic environment.

After conclusion of the Discovery Scuba class, your fun in the pool will be followed by an optional limited-menu meal from Solstice Kitchen + Cocktails, or equivalent.

This Scuba event inclues SDI Discovery Scuba or Refresher Course.

If you would like to continue your diving adventures and get Certified to dive in open waters, we offer the Open Water Scuba Certification course as an add-on to this event for ony $250.00 Link below:

Location of Event: Lumina on Wrightsville Beach, 1706 N Lumina Ave, Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480, at the Indoor Pool on the Lower Level

Cost: $225/per person

Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation registration email, followed by an email which includes SDI Scuba Diver forms required for the event participation. All forms provided must be completed for each diver prior to entering the water.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to starting time.

It is recommended to bring a towel and a dry change of clothes. Restrooms are avialable poolside.

No refunds. Scuba events will be rescheduled if canceled due to weather, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances.
